Community/Lebanon Impact

Twenty-five years ago, with the grace of Almighty God, a seed of goodness was planted and has since been nurtured with hard work and determination.

Twenty-five years ago, she founded Ajialouna with a few volunteers who shared her belief in the right of all people to have equal access to good health, social security, and educational opportunities. The team focused on assisting underprivileged groups within the Lebanese community, including widows, orphans, students, poor families, the elderly, and women. Their mission has been to improve their standard of living, increase their awareness, and help them become properly educated, healthy, financially independent, and able to contribute productively to society.

Throughout these years, one of her primary concerns has been the empowerment of Lebanese women. She has always believed that providing women with knowledge, skills, and self-confidence is crucial. This belief led to the launch of the women empowerment program at Ajialouna, where she invested in women by teaching them careers and helping them start businesses.

As Kofi Annan once said, "There is no tool for development more effective than the empowerment of women."

Giving is receiving... The gift of giving is a wonderful feeling. There is a special joy in seeing a smile on someone’s face. She has been blessed to have the opportunity to help others.
