Community/Lebanon Impact

She has always believed that conducting research in the Middle East requires an enormous amount of patience, creativity, cultural sensitivity, and resourcefulness. She has done her best to be a faithful Regional Adviser on Gender and Empowerment in Arab states, especially in her home country of Lebanon. Her aim has been to represent the civilized future that women in this region deserve, and to take on a more nuanced role in human development.

Through her socio-political research, she has worked to lay the groundwork for addressing the issues facing her country, striving to pave the way for reform, democracy, and freedom. This has been her path, and she remains committed to continuing this important work.
