Captain Rola Hoteit is the first and only female air line Captain in Lebanon. She works for Middle East Airlines, flying the Airbus 320 and Airbus 330. Rola is a Fellow at the Royal Aeronautical Society, Rola also serves as Executive Vice President of IFALPA.
Rola earned her Airline Transport Pilot’s License from Perth, Scotland in 1994 and her BS Mathematics in 2003 from the American University in Beirut, where she also earned an MA in Philosophy in 2022.
In 2016, the BBC chose her as one of the Top 100 Women in the World and one of the Top 100 Inspiring Lebanese Global Figures. She is featured in the book, “The 100” Meet 100 Influential Lebanese Figures Around the Globe.
