Community/Lebanon Impact
My career combines more than 25 years corporate business experience with the skills of a certified professional business coach and the advocacy of a global champion for women and girls.
Thanks to my experience as Exco member of Unilever Levant & Chairwoman of Fattal Group, I am aware of the challenges facing shareholders, board chairs, board members and senior executives.
Following my accreditations with both the Mudara-Institute of Directors & the Institut Français des Administrateurs I became among the first female certified board directors in the region.
I am a sought-after speaker, coach and workshop facilitator on the topic of family businesses, and women’s leadership at the board level — how to get there and how best to contribute.
Since 2014 up to 2020, the magazine Forbes Middle East has repeatedly recognized me as one of the “100 Most Powerful Arab Women in Business”. And in January 2024, I earned a position in the "Forbes 50 Over 50 Europe Middle East and Africa" annual list.
It was important for me to walk the talk and to become an angel investor in the first Lebanese Women Angel Fund and a formal mentor for both women entrepreneurs & corporate leaders.
Being the Founder of “Stand For Women”, an NGO advocating for women empowerment and gender equality in the MENA region, makes me proud. The 2 pillars of our advocacy are around championing sisterhood and changing the face of the workforce to include more women participation at all the corporate echelons.
Following the Beirut explosion, we launched the “Marion Fund” an initiative to assist more than 250 women-owned SMEs affected by the blast to go back to business.
Having lived & worked in France, Argentina, the UAE, Cyprus and Lebanon, I am married & a mother of 4 lovely kids.
