What I have done for Lebanon
I believe that what I have done for Lebanon was the right thing to do , although it may not seem to have bear its fruits yet.
For over 15 years I was fighting in different fields , as a civil society volunteer and women's rights advocate , for promoting , defending and enforcing the rights and liberties for all Lebanese to work and live in freedom and dignity, thus empowering them to build a better prosperous Lebanon.
As the first female presidential candidate I contributed in breaking taboos and fear, and in changing the stereotype of the Lebanese woman from a victim to a full competent and capable partner in the political decision making . This bold move was no doubt a stepping stone for many Lebanese women to challenge and overcome the many obstacles to their active participation in public life and the building a better future for All.
