Leila Jiryes Ghantous

Throughout her association with various societies, she worked towards the fundamental goal of promoting the image of Lebanon, emphasizing its positive attributes and, most importantly, the vitality and resourcefulness of the Lebanese people in cultural and educational interactions both at home and abroad. In this context, she collaborated with several colleagues to organize trips and exploratory visits to various parts of the country. Additionally, she was committed to inviting prominent personalities from Lebanon and abroad to speak to the members of these societies and to showcase the work being done in the service of Lebanon. It is an honor for her to recall that the First Lady of Lebanon chaired the final annual celebration of the “Women’s League” at the American University of Beirut, and that numerous foreign ambassadors to Lebanon were also invited to attend this celebration.
