Community Involvement
Layal Beyhum is a Lebanese policy advocate working at the intersection of collective rights, social cohesion, and diaspora belonging. She builds civic spaces that reconnect Lebanon’s fragmented realities across communities and geographic borders. As the founder of Lebnene Ele, she has led initiatives that link educational access, gender and climate justice, and intergenerational and inter-religious dialogues to the broader question of how Lebanese communities, local and abroad, reclaim agency and belonging. Her work connects civil society actors with Euro-Mediterranean institutions to advance diaspora-inclusive policy and rights-based civic engagement.
