Basic living skills project, Established the Lebanese section of IBBY (International Books for young People) in 1980. She initiated the Women and Gender Collection at the LAU Library (now the Julinda Abou Nasr Women and Gender Collection) in 1975. She organized numerous conferences on regional issues including Lebanese and Arab Women's roles, as well as Women's relationship to the environment.
