Community Involvement

Imane Assaf is a leading Lebanese changemaker whose work spans humanitarian relief, environmental sustainability, disability inclusion, and cultural enrichment. As the Founder and President of Ahla Fawda, she has supported more than 160,000 individuals, empowered youth and women through skills-building programs, diverted over 100 tons of waste from landfills through the EcoHub model, and revived public spaces with murals and cultural events. Her community impact extends beyond Ahla Fawda through her wider civic engagement: she serves on the Board of Step Together School for Special Needs, is Vice President of Sadaka NGO, and is Co-Founder of Art of Change. Her dedication to social and environmental progress has earned her national recognition, including an honor from the First Lady of Lebanon for her outstanding service to the community.
